Being a driver of trucks can be extremely difficult! You have a lot on your mind and it takes time to master your driving skills truck. It will also take some time before we can launch the map away and be comfortable with the fact that you know your way around the country. In time, you know where every truck stop is located across the country. The problem is that you spend all your time doing your papers done well, planning and route of travel, finding a place to sleep, and work on your truck driving skills that you do not have time to draw your trucking career.
You do not have time to plot your truck driving career because you're too busy doing all these things and the break in the business are aware of this. They know you're a truck driver and new learning they take advantage of this fact. They paint a perfect picture of your truck driving career with them and try to scare drivers on other businesses. They spread rumors or giving misinformation. It's sad.
They do this because you're making a lot of money. These carriers could be you pay three times what they do and still make a profit, but they do not. They pay you the minimum amount and a lot of support from your benefits. It would not be good business for them to talk about companies that pay 40-65 cents per mile! They keep you away from home for 2-3 weeks at a time when you can do more and be home every day elsewhere.
new truck drivers get caught up in being new. I know because I was a truck driver again, but I figured it out quickly. There are good jobs truck driver who pay top dollar in the trucking industry and you can be home every day like a normal person. You can get these jobs with very little experience or none at all. I talk to the drivers still work for the break-enterprises in the years later and I scratch my head. We all drive the same routes in the same time, so why should result in lower cost. Good luck.
