With all the speculation about what Google is and is not using his algorithm, all SEO companies who say they can beat the system, and all web masters worship the golden statue that Google PR is now, it is easy to believe the hype. Why is it so easy? Everyone is looking for a standard way of judging websites. People like things in black and white (green and white in this case), and PR is a semi imperfect yet measurable this mission. I want to know if my site is better than my competitors site, and who better to deliver the report card that the colossus of Internet giant Google.
I propose a validation technique similar to the W3C CSS or XHTML validation, which is realistic. It is compiled and reviewed by a committee of nonprofit and do not spawn millions of mini Google link spamming monkeys on the backs of webmasters.
Everyone knows that PR is imperfect, but is still at the helm during which most websites are measured. It is time for a real standard. We need some way to validate the accuracy of the presence or absence of, Web content quality.
