The real power of social bookmarking comes into play when more then one person shares their bookmarks. For instance, let's say I had tagged a few links as "music." Using del.icio.us I can of course review my list of music websites at any time but thanks to social bookmarking I can also use del.icio.us to review websites that other people have tagged as "music." Here is an example url that allows me to see everyones shared "music" bookmarks:
