Free dynamic "Sports" content

For sports 2rss.com has an existing category (http://www.2rss.com/index.php?cat2=34) so finding a quality feed was a straight forward process.  When a major information portal doesn't immediatley offer RSS or RDF feeds, it is not uncommon to see an independent developer create a "screen scraping" based feed.  A "screen scrape" is an automated process where traditional HTML is converted into a different format.  The following feed is a "screen scrape" based feed:

While I'd love to use this feed, "Screen scrape" based feeds often break when the source web-site design or formatting is updated.  Instead I'm going to use:

Here is the same feed but we've enabled the display of item description or summary information as we did on the previous page.  As you may have noticed, even limiting the characters returned with long summaries or descriptions your "News Box" can grow pretty long.  To combat the length (a common issue when implementing a "News Box" into an existing web-site) I've restricted the number of items displayed.  Here we are requesting the display of just the two latest items.
