On many levels this was a fantastic film. The film started with a long scene of break-dancing contest with accents a bit surreal and ended this rather long opening scene with a tragic shooting on the benefit of the winners, even if it was not a violent film. Then the film moves quickly to adjust its balance of South Georgia in Atlanta, where we have a right to landscape the area and introduces the central character of the DJ who is now back and is sent to a prestigious university called the Truth University as a last chance to make amends and right itself. DJ is for the most part confident and sure of himself and was not wearing his recent deep troubles on her sleeve. However, he carries with himself a degree of resistance to his new environment that he needs to sift and make decisions on. He immediately asserted against an excavation of the first graduating year and establishes himself as someone to be reckoned with. He showed very early that is able and diligent academic, but his motives are not fully disclosed that its long-term goals really are and it does not agree much with that. As enrollment in school, he sees a beautiful girl in the water fountain drinking water, and was immediately fascinated. The scene itself was quite unique, I do not remember a recent film in which a key character throughout the film was presented at a water fountain. Not exactly what the film would be and there was this introduction of a large break dance or not dance scene, I wondered what was coming. Soon, we find two competing franchise fraternities corresponding super intense dance routines not taken with cinematography and acting that is quite impressive. It is interesting that the step routines seemed particularly aggressive, but never came through actual violence. The filmography of this seizure was excellent in expressions, movement and accumulation of these dance routines. Whatever you think of this sport, you have to admire how these guys are in tip top shape more and work that must have been involved to get there and stay there. Later there will be a national contest on the subject and DJ do a routine to compete in a club that everyone sees and reviews, and it is marked as a rookie desirable for both fraternities for his unique creativity and delivery of this dance steps.
As a DJ one step closer to finding the mystery girl he first spotted the fountain to drink greedily, he finds in the arms of the head of the dance steps in the brotherhood of top level that is has better students in this academic school connected, such as Ivy League universities in the South. The fraternity has a history that runs to win the national contest in step dancing for the past 7 years and it seems personally intend to follow this well-developed sense of history to the competition stage.
