Recently, while sipping my coffee soy milk in my iced coffee shop, I heard three young men talking about what appeared to be their favorite sport - rock climbing. A girl hates eaves drop but I could not help myself. Besides being incredibly handsome (I am married not blind!), I was fascinated by their obvious passion and a guy of his particular history last climb.
Watch his animated gestures, and listening to his friends saying "no way dude" for the twelfth time in five minutes, I had to tap him on the shoulder to ask what I am sure is a stiletto-heeled feet typical question on the ground, rock climbing ... why? "
The nice guy (no pain was older than 19 ... good!) Puts me things and I enrolled on the wonders of climbing. Do not worry I'm not trading my sandals with thongs climbing shoes in the near future.
Like Andy, Jet, and Brandon introduced me to the world of climbing, I realized that the climbers and entrepreneurs have much in common - especially solo free climbing.
solo free, I am told that this is one of the most uninhibited of climbing. In fact, it is very dangerous and is the category of extreme sports. There are no strings, no trains, no partners. Instead, the climber is left on their own (solo) based on their skills and mental edge to keep them stuck - in the style of Spiderman - the rock.
Is it not look like entrepreneurship for you? At the end of the day, your skill as an entrepreneur, and most importantly, mental advantage that keeps you glued to the rise or risk a vertical drop!

An escalation Best Friend:
The rope is considered a best friend of climbers. They say it's one of the largest investments of a climber can do and a good cable is one that can maintain your weight. When the rope can not hold you, it is time to replace it.
Your vision is the equivalent of a rope climbers because it is this vision that stay focused and grounded during your trip. You will encounter bumps, rocks and potholes on your climb. The vision of your future, the future of your family and all the way, you want to affect the world is what sustains and supports you. When your vision can not hold you, it may be time to replace that vision with something great.
Gear Old, new gear:
Solo free climbing there is no train and when you start your ascent of business, you do not put any gear whatsoever. As Rapunzel business success, I thought I had all the equipment I needed in the form of knowledge to become an instant success in my small business. I was shaken and stirred quickly discovered that I needed new gear!
My new gear consists of unlearning bad habits of companies that do not use my small business. He has been guided by coaches, learning new building systems, strategies and tactics to grow my business and my greatest asset retuning business ... my mind.
The money and the mind:
As an individual entrepreneur free climbing, your mental edge is essential to the success of your climb. Partners and alliances can come and go, but the only person who will always stick with you in your business is you.
The respect that the relationship above all others, by investing in your self-care, creating environments that promote your growth and creativity, honor where you are today, and sticking to your vision. When you do this, make your way to wealth and abundance ... What does this mean for you.
Before leaving the cafe, I made the boys promise me they would not free solo climb anytime soon. All three assured me they would not be saying that "bump" (translation: for extremists only).
Entrepreneurs are extremists. We go where others only dream of going and nothing more than talent, the mental edge and longing that we are examples of what is possible.
