- 3 Alphas in Management - Introduction
3 Alphas in Management is written using simple techniques and effective management and proven that I used in my nearly 30 years of leadership positions in various industries, including as vice-president with a large multi-business -National (MNC) and a group executive director of a listed company (PLC).
Emphasis 3 Alphas eastbound on training teams, known as circles, involving all levels of staff in the organization to create a work force consistent with a sense of purpose within an organization focused on client.
The circles are used to designate a roundtable atmosphere and environment, whereby all participants are equal and a circle are equally important.
Nobody is left out, and, in fact, no one should be left aside.
After all, all employees are also consumers and customers and their ideas and suggestions on how an organization can be more focused on the client are valid and as such, should not be discarded or neglected.
3 Alphas in the management starts from AAA (the 3A) to ZZZ (the 3Zs).
I have not a minute that the list is exhaustive.
Instead, it is hoped that the three Alphas Management stimulate your organization to create their own personalized 3 Alphas.
For example, I used 'ideas in the improvement "for III (3IS), but also would be valid" Investing in Intrapreuners "or" Innovations in the industry "etc. etc.
- The 3Bs (BBB)
- Overview
Most companies are very introverted and self-centered rather than client-centered or society.
What most companies forget is that the success or failure of their business is highly dependent on external factors rather than internal factors, ie customers are there and not in the business.
So how do you ensure that your business is not self-centered and client centered and society?
First, you must remember that people who work for you are also customers and consumers. Thus, group them and let them tell you what is important to them.
- The circles
You can arrange them in circles, known as the Better Business Circles (BBCS).
Each COO can be attributed a specific task or topic, for example
BBC on the environment
BBC Sports Promotion
From the BBC on addiction
BBC on Child Health
- Methodology
The circles are used to designate a roundtable atmosphere and environment, whereby all participants in the circle are equal and are equally important.
The Circle would be established by management
The circle will be composed of staff from different departments or divisions
The Circle has a facilitator and not a president and a secretary
Each BBC would have between 5-10 members, and they will be responsible for:
Identify what your company is already in their specific work area
What more can be done by your company
What would the cost be, if any
Who (outside) your company should work to ensure that the company is represented
If the efforts are localized, regionalized, nationalized, or even internationalized
